You can pay the difference between the rental and the buy price anytime between now and the end of the semester. You can still write and highlight, even in a rental. By renting first, you would have the whole semester to decide if you like the book enough to keep it. It's a great way to save money. Changing the rental to a purchase is very easy at the end of the semester.
We do re-rental discounts if you need the same book for another semester. It is cheaper than paying the difference. The second time will be cheaper than the first time you rented the book.
Our system was created to make renting books the cheapest option for you. Regardless of where you sell them; you never get back as much as you pay for the book.
